During World War Two,the Saint Louis Cardinals baseball team adopted "Pass The Biscuits,Mirandy" as their good luck theme song, playing it before every game. And the Cardinals won the pennant in 1942,1943,and 1944.
Then they lost the recording, and didn't win the pennant in 1945.
Team officials asked Jones to make a special recording of the song just for them. He did,and The Cardinals won the pennant in 1946.
