Strahenklaviertur (meaning radiation keyboard) was an attempt to improve the ergonomics of the piano further. While the front edge is formed a straight line, but the keys run diagonally to the players and meet at an imaginary point behind the average player.
Instruments with radiation keyboard are rare. To commercialize it, Ibach particularly founded "Strahenklaviertur GmbH in Barmen". It is also referred from the Memorial of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg No. 32 from 12 June 1909. The radiation keyboard is there as patent No. 7933 of 18. May 1909 indicated.
