English: Trelew (Tre Lew(is)) is a city in the province of Chubut, in Argentine Patagonia. The city is the largest and most populous in the low valley of the Chubut River, with an estimated 100,000 inhabitants as of 2010. The city was founded in 1886 by Welsh settlers, hence its name of Welsh origin, feature shared with many other cities and towns in the area.

Es la ciudad más poblada de la zona con 100.000 habitantes hacia 2010. Se comenzó a formar en 1886, bajo el impulso de la inmigración galesa de fines de siglo XIX que colaboró con el tendido del Ferrocarril del Chubut.
