Svenska: Västerhejde är en tätort i Gotlands kommun och en gotländsk socken. Fram till 1863 utgjorde socknen en juridisk och kyrklig enhet inom Gotlands södra härad respektive Visby stift. Efter 1863 har sockenbegreppet levt kvar som en kulturell och identifikationsgrundande enhet för sockenborna.
