English: Cahors wine is a red wine from grapes grown in or around the town of Cahors, France. Cahors is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) which forms part of the South West France wine region. The dominant grape variety in AOC Cahors wines is Malbec.
Français : Le Cahors est un vin rouge français d'appellation d'origine contrôlée du vignoble du Sud-Ouest de la France. Son vignoble produit exclusivement du vin rouge avec le cépage côt N (appelé aussi malbec ou auxerrois). Il est situé à l'ouest de la ville de Cahors, à cheval sur la vallée du Lot dans le département homonyme et sur les causses du Quercy au sud de cette vallée.
