@SchiDD: I'm not sure about this category. See the description in Category:Bell towers: "English: Bell towers. For bell towers of churches, see Category:Church towers. For bell gables, see Category:Bell gables." It seems pretty like a duplicate to me. But if you want this category, you must recategorize probably almost all files from Category:Bell towers. Plus this categorization is wrong. Many bell towers have its own category, you must recategorize whole category, not only one photo. --Harold (talk) 07:41, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

@Harold: A bell house is another building as a bell tower, so I created this category, see my article de:Glockenhaus.--SchiDD (talk) 08:08, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
OK, but it is necessary to have got correct categorization. I think it would be maybe better to move current categorization tree (see Category:Bell towers in the Czech Republic by region!), not to found a new one. --Harold (talk) 08:17, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
@Harold: I have a new Category:Bell houses in Ústí nad Labem Region‎ created, it is so means? --SchiDD (talk) 10:07, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
@SchiDD: Yes, but there are also other subcategories, like Category:Bell towers in Ústí nad Labem Region -> Category:Bell towers in Louny District -> Category:Bell towers in Domoušice and hundreds of others in other regions for necessary recategorization. --Harold (talk) 14:23, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

Please, categorize a whole category of particular bell houses, not only one photo from it. Thank you. And I hope the recategorization will be done in a short time. --Harold (talk) 06:47, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

@SchiDD, Harold: I merged the whole category tree back to Bell towers, because all the categories of this tree were unsystematic – they were not categorized under the corresponding country or region, they had not solved their relation to related categories (buildings, bell towers), their specification and description was insufficient, and their content was random and improperly inserted (as described above). And above all, the hypothetical distinction of "bell houses" from "bell towers" according their relation to any church is very unsuitable for categorization, because many belfries are remains of the former near church, and the relation to any church hasn't essential coherence with the structural or architectural form of the belfry. For the future, any proposal to categorize belfries (bell houses, bell towers) more precisely by their form can be welcomed, however, it should be any good considered and faultlessly applied operation. To start the discussion, we can try to look for the right English terms for particular forms (types) of belfries: beginning with the simpliest forms of pole-belfries (dvoják, zouvák, vidlák, šrák) which are not buildings. Paralelly, bell towers can be categorized by material (wooden, stone, masonry), by height (single-storey, multi-storey), by architectural style or century etc. However, all levels of categorization should be properly interconnected. The one who have not mastered the basic principles of categorization should not start such extensive changes. --ŠJů (talk) 22:56, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
