Last Saturday I photographed Brachychiton rupestris fruits at on a young tree growing in Goondiwindi Botanic Gardens (on the Queensland/New south Wales border). Although also boat shaped, they are quite different to the fruits picture you show, having only 9 or 10 bright yellow seeds to a pod. I believe the picture you show is of a different Brachychiton species. I would be happy to send you photos but don't know how to . . . Linda Muldoon
