Hi, imho Category:Jules Verne in art and Category:Art of British India – latter as some images are quite "Indian-alook-like" (elephants etc.) – are much more "fitting" than "India in art" => a misleading, "artificial" category that is too complicated to handle/categorize "correctly" (and, please, not as a "main category" within Category:India!). More important: "Illustrations from The Steam House by Léon Benett" are illustrations to the book Category:The Steam House, that's why Category:Jules Verne in art (just started now) is imho much more "fitting" for that and other illustrations to Verne's book. The first: I think that for people that aren't specialist in India Category:India in art would be more useful to handle. If I see an art about India I heve no time and knoledge to categorise it in more precise way. Somebody who is an specialist about India can categorise them in more precise way later. The second: the matter is not if something is a real art about India or only "India-look-like". The importance is that it is an author's (or other nacionality) imagination about the country. E.g. I am Polish and some strager's imaginations about Poland are quite strange to me. But they are and I can't ignore it as they aren't. Also every art is no objective because it is only an author imagination abouy something. Category:Jules Verne in art is rater for the painings and picture of Jules Verne, not about his works...
