Category talk:Inga (Fabaceae)
From Wikimedia Commons, the free media repository
Oppose User tries to get systematically rid of disambiguation terms as he did for example with Category:Sylvia.
- As can be seen in Category:Inga, Inga can mean many things in many languages: Inga has disambiguation on 8 different wikipedias
- The category lives already 31 months as Category:Inga (genus) and later as Category:Inga (Fabaceae) without problems
- When looking into Category:Inga history and and its logs, it is clear that it was used for a place in Congo till recently, and that disambiguation is clearly needed --Foroa (talk) 07:15, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
You should never preemptively disambig. That's a basic rule of wikis. Practically every word has more than one meaning. The question is do we need it here? I couldn't find any other category called "Inga". I've notice you've been opposing like everyone on everything recently... Although, when there's disagreement, I do like to default to what en.wp uses: en:Inga. Rocket000 (talk) 23:57, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
