Please see also and consider Commons:Categories for discussion/2019/03/Category:Islamic theologians, if you like to. There is a "crowd" of Islamic categorization in Commons: Clothing, politics, religion, scholars and so-called scholars, etc. I have difficulty in reaching at the art, culture, civilization, literature whatever you call of the good deeds/works of Islam, trying to walk in such a crowded avenue (one which is full of out-of-scope people and their unnecessary images/cats). --E4024 (talk) 18:58, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, and I would also consider it up the Category:Scholars tree. Adopting a standard "Scholars of area of study" format makes sense. Are Category:Legal scholars scholars who study within the bounds of legality, or are they Category:Scholars of law? Admitedly less prone to confusion than the nominated category, but the same principle holds. I also noticed Category:Scholars in Eastern Orthodoxy, which could be taken to be about Eastern Orthodoxy's take on scholars, so probably better as Category:Scholars of Eastern Orthodoxy.
