For the protocol: On 27 October 2018 near all 1000 members are removed by fixing Template:Bicolor. -- User: Perhelion 13:30, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
More information required[edit]
Many templates are now in this category, calling too many expensive parser functions. I just know about #ifexist: – are there other expensive functions?
At the moment I cannot see what's wrong, what makes all the SVG created with ... templates too expensive. It comes from Valid/Invalid SVG in the docu. -- sarang♥사랑 16:39, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Sarang: If this may still be helpful: I do not know of a page describing expensive functions comprehensively. However, the information can be found on the documentation at MediaWiki-wiki. This page is a good summary. To see all of them, look at the pages below—they are the documentation for all parser functions. Search for the word expensive (probably in English, because the translations are not very complete):
- Parser functions: currently only
#ifexist:
, which is a common cause of these issues - Magic words: uppercase names like
{{PAGESINCATEGORY:}}
—the expensive magic words are very uncommon - Lua functions and properties: these are used in modules, which are used in many templates
- Parser functions: currently only
- When I look at the subject of this talk page now, it seems the SVG templates have been fixed, but a different set of templates have become too expensive. —wqnvlz (talk · contribs); 09:36, 9 April 2022 (UTC)
