The Snow and Burgess lies at rest on the beach at Glen Cove near Port Townsend, WA. You can still walk the beach and see her timbers embedded in the sand. I have known about this ship since I was a boy in the early 1950's. My father was a good friend of Fred Bailey, who was the one who dismantled her and sold for scrap. I have a wonderful copper spike, nearly one inch in diameter which was one of many used to fasten her timbers together. What a mighty ship she was. Great photo's of her here on Wikipedia ! jwvl 7/30/2012
