Proposal[edit]

There are two categories for the same mountain group, Category:Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Category:Drei Zinnen. In my opinion there should only be one. Besides moving one to the other and redirecting the former, it would also be possible for symmetry reason to move both to a common new category, e.g. Category:Tre Cime di Lavaredo / Drei Zinnen and redirecting both old categories to the new one. (According to Commons:Categories#Category name the name should be English and thus only .... (but what is the correct English name for geographic objects?)). Eagerly waiting for your comments. --Herzi Pinki (talk) 19:29, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

I moved all the files in the category Tre Cime di Lavaredo in Drei Zinnen, i donno if it s correct....--Llorenzi (talk) 16:54, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I can't understand why a mountain located in Italy should be officialy named with a german name. I could agree with that if it was entirely in Bolzano province, that is italian but german-spoken (as "Torre di Toblino" or "Croda Rossa-Rotwand"), but it's half in province of Belluno, which is italian and italian spoken! There are no reason to call Tre Cime di Lavaredo with their german name even because in the english, french and all the others wikipedias they are called with the italian name! Only in de:wikipedia are not. I don't agree with this decision and hope we find a solution (both names for example)!--Kufoleto (talk) 08:25, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
