I've been involved with Wikimedia on the English Wikipedia since June 2006. I recently received trusted user status here at Commons. I since cleared out the backlog (which was then restored by another bot run or two) of images in the Flickr images needing human review and was recently revealed as the second most Commons talk:WikiProject Flickr#Top reviewers flickr reviewed images. Seeing as how I get burnt out on flickr review fairly fast (that is to say, I can do 50 images before I get bored and seek other things to do), expanding to help other areas here that need admin attention will help alleviate the redundancy.

I had a failed RFA on en.wiki in Jan/Feb 2007, for which had nothing to do with my image work there (or here) and had mostly to do with a CSD/AFD series I did on band articles that should not have been done, and an answer I gave to what blocking is about for which my lack of English skills is more likely the cause, rather than me truly feeling that blocks are punitive. Most of my work here, prior to flickr reviewing was related to moving images from en.wiki or uploading free images from the US Navy mostly.

My main interest here is to perform more maintenance work than I currently do, such as deletion at CSD and Deletion requests. While I have a budding interest in photography, I am at best an amateur photographer (for which you can see my work on my userpage) and maintenance, both here and at en.wiki, involving images is what I have a "knack" for. I am available in the Commons (and Wikipedia) IRC channel(s) daily for ~6 hours and weekends too. MECUtalk 20:14, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
