I'll try and refrain from rambling too much, but please forgive me if I fail. I've been a registered Commons user since October 2007, but it's only been in the past few months that I've really started helping out with the admin-related areas. My primary focus is doing Flickrreview, although I also make a point of weighing in on deletion requests on a more or less daily basis. I'm also an OTRS volunteer, and I primarily use my access to work on the permissions-commons queue. I am ja-4 (hence the whole GMT +9 thing), and I generally use that to help out at the Japanese-language village pump and provide Japanese-language captions for pictures of the day. And finally, I've recently begun contributing to valued image evaluations, although my experience there is limited at best.
Despite my relatively low edit count, I am familiar enough with Commons policy and licensing issues to feel comfortable requesting the tools. I would primarily like to help with deletion work, both speedy deletion and the giant backlog of deletion discussions. This is also the focus of my work as an en-wiki administrator (deletion log), and while I know that deletion discussions here don't work the same as they do there, I believe my experience can still be of service. --jonny-mt 13:25, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Support, obviously. Hard working, committed, has clue, used the word "fail" in a serious nomination, used incorrect naming conventions on this RfA, doesn't spell "Johnny" the conventional way. Did I miss anything? —Giggy 23:29, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Support Excellent user. Majorlytalk 23:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Support Should prove to be helpful and contribute positively with the tools. Cirt (talk) 01:09, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
