An existing bitmap of the Shavian letter "Air"

This is a request to upload a set of 128 SVGs of letters from two constructed scripts used for English spelling reform, so that they can be used in character tables on the pages about these two scripts. The scripts are Shavian and Deseret; they exist in both Unicode and ISO 15924. The Shavian letters already exist on Commons as low-resolution bitmaps, one of which is shown to the right: these will be superseded by the SVGs. The zipfile contains all 128 SVGs, and also 128 corresponding text files which contain the descriptions of each image, including their Unicode codepoints. If it's not easy to set the descriptions, it would be perfectly good just to upload the SVGs, and I'll set the descriptions myself. The name of each file is the name I would expect it to have on Commons.

It contains 48 Shavian letters (Shavian is a caseless script), 40 lowercase Deseret letters, and 40 uppercase Deseret letters, for a total of 128 letters.

Two more thoughts:

  1. I am going through and cleaning up the images which the bot uploaded in test runs by hand, in case anyone is still following those links.
  2. I wish to add to my request. I would also like to use this bot, when the images are uploaded, to go through all the old bitmap images and add {{Vector version available}} to each. Would that be acceptable? Marnanel (talk) 15:03, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
