Ideas for what to shoot[edit]

  1. Riddarholmen, a small islet in central Stockholm with an iconic church. --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 23:21, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
  2. Gamla stan, Stockholm's historic old town with its cobblestone alleys and beautiful views. --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 23:21, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
  3. Maybe lesser-known parts of Stockholm which aren't covered well on Commons yet? Gestumblindi (talk) 23:52, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
  4. I think Södermalm would be very interesting for photographers. Up until the 70s, it was the "rough" part of Stockholm where workers and sailors lived and some of it has undergone a tremendous transformation into the chick/hip/"it" part of Stockholm. You have everything from small cottages via industry stuctures to super-modern architecture, not to mention all the spectacular views of the rest if Stockholm since it is situated on a height (you might want to take the Katarina Elevator if it's operational). --Cart (talk) 08:50, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
  5. Start in Beckholmen and Djurgårdsstaden (category:Djurgårdsstaden/de:Djurgårdsstaden) and: 1) take the ferry to Skeppsholmen and walk via Gamla stan towards Södermalm; or 2) take the ferry/tram to en:Nybroplan and take the metro from Kungsträdgården metro station to Rådhuset metro station (Two of Stockholm's most spectacular metro stations and walk via Stockholm City Hall and Riddarholmen/Gamla stan towards Södermalm.--ArildV (talk) 19:47, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
  6. Take one of the boats from Strömkajen to picturesque Vaxholm. The boat trip takes about 1½ hour and you get to see Stockholm from the water plus a bit of the archipelago. In Vaxholm there is a ferry every 15 minutes to the Vaxholm Fortress for those who are interested. --Cart (talk) 11:10, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
