File:I'm Reince Priebus.ogg[edit]
The GOP is the copyright holder on this, not the uploader. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 04:26, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Keep (Weak). OP claims to be the author of the file, which appears to be incorrect, but per WP:GOODFAITH, we can assume that this was a mistaken understanding on OP's part after creating and/or extracting the file from the original address. Without a clear copyright claim being made here, it's unclear to me whether this is a violation. US political parties make many types of public addresses, and depending on the venue in which they're distributed, they may be in the public domain. The current GOP weekly addresses are found on the official website (senate.gov) for the Senate Republican Conference, for example. I was unable to locate the original address that OP claims this file was excerpted from. Juansmith (talk) 19:01, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
Keep. Reince Priebus' name has been mispronounced a dozen different ways on air. The best way to convey the correct pronunciation to Wikipedia readers is to use this short snippet of him pronouncing his own name. Considering that we're writing about a living person, we owe him at least that much. It hardly violates anybody's copyright and should be considered "fair use", a Wikimedia policy that has been abused far more egregiously hundreds, if not thousands of times. — Quicksilver@ 00:21, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
Deleted: per nomination. Fair use is not allowed on Commons. Without a doubt there are other files violating this rule on Commons but that does not justify keeping this file here. Please note that WP:Policies do not apply here because this is not Wikipedia. Green Giant (talk) 14:26, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
