Fandom, formerly known as Wikia, is a popular set of user-generated Wikis.
Fandom pages have a license posted in the footer, often Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted, which applies only to text, not other media like images and video or comments.
Images and videos on Fandom are presumed to be copyrighted and should not be uploaded to Commons unless explicitly identified as public domain or freely-licensed. Even if a specific image on a Fandom wiki is specifically claimed to be freely licensed (which should appear under "more info" when viewing that image), users importing that content to Commons should take appropriate steps to ensure that license is accurate, as Fandom does not have any license verification process.
Media from Fandom should preferably be placed into Category:Images from Fandom when possible.
If there is any suspicion that media from Fandom is non-free, they should be nominated for deletion, via COM:SPEEDY for obvious cases or COM:DR for any other case.

Some wikis use licenses other than the CC BY-SA license. The license used by an individual wiki is made clear on the edit page of that wiki. Individual wikis may not use a license other than CC BY-SA unless it has been explicitly permitted by, or it was subject to a different license at the time it was acquired by, Fandom, Inc. Text on Fandom is licensed {{CC-BY-SA-3.0}}, unless specified otherwise on the Wiki. Since the content is user-generated, re-users of this content should be wary of potential copyright violations by Fandom users.
