- Question How is he notable? --A.Savin 02:31, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- He's a painter and visual artist with frequent exhibitions here and there in the recent period (normally, mostly before the pandemic). See this news article (in Macedonian).--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 09:50, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose If the man is the focus, a tighter crop and some more background blurring of the very busy wall would improve the image greatly Kingsif (talk) 06:25, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support I like the idea of a painter getting lost in his painting. But would like to see a category and at least a wikidata item connected to it. --Andrei (talk) 16:55, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Done I've created a Wikidata item and connected it to this image.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 17:46, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Somewhat concerned about lack of FOP for 2D works in North Macedonia. The selection of the artist's own work, combined with framing that places more attention on it than on a typical background, means the work is intended to be part of the image rather than just de minimis background. Apart from that, I do think it's a good portrait (if a bit small). — Rhododendrites talk | 17:18, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose -- too busy Seven Pandas (talk) 00:52, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry, not convinced; neither of notability (not a single one Wikipedia entry), nor of any other special feature of the picture itself, and/or "wow effect". --A.Savin 01:21, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- @A.Savin: I've been regularly participating in the promotion of FPs and I can't remember that we've ever discussed notability to be considered a necessary criterion. Take a look at the other FPs of people and you can notice that, in most cases, the name of the person photographed is unknown.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 08:35, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- It's not a criterion on Commons FPC. But if I neither see notability nor anything special about the picture itself, I may oppose of course. --A.Savin 13:05, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

- Comment My issue is that I don't understand why he was looking up when he was photographed, and I'm pretty nonplussed by that. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:10, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Nice colors, and potentially an interesting portrait, but per Ikan his expression suggests he's only allowing himself to be photographed with great reluctance and doesn't really enjoy the experience. Plus the art behind him is unsharp. Daniel Case (talk) 18:09, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per others and my remarks above. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:12, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
