During the event, students from China and Russia attended and presented flowers to the victims and heroes of the World Anti-Fascist War. They expressed their hope that the future world would be peaceful and there would be no war. The Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China also participated in the event. He said that both China and Russia must not forget their original aspirations and bear in mind the lessons of history.
