[edit]

  • Nomination on March 25 at the beginning of spring 2020 the snow whitened the Tuscan countryside-- PROPOLI87 22:04, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose nothing in focus --Ezarate 22:28, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support. I don't understand why you did not chose a smaller aperture and longer exposure time to achieve a better depth of field. However, we should not say that nothing in the picture is sharp. For me it is weak QI. Therefore please discuss. -- Spurzem 22:38, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose - I'm not ready to judge the quality of the picture, but I'm opposing for now because having no category other than "Snow" is totally insufficient. You also need to add geographic coordinates or at least a more specific location than "Tuscan countryside". -- Ikan Kekek 02:59, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I think there is also strong CA --Grtek 02:57, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Total: 1 support (excluding the nominator), 3 oppose → Declined   --Peulle 17:33, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]

  • Nomination Dome of the Invalides, in Paris. By User:Eusebius --Junior Jumper 14:16, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Decline  Support - The two ghost-women on the left are regrettable, but good quality. -- Ikan Kekek 19:12, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
Oppose I disagree: overprocessed HDR with a halo around the Dôme. --Gyrostat 14:05, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose per Gyrostat. --Smial 11:03, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Question I don't see a halo at full size. I don't get it. -- Ikan Kekek 22:40, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
Comment The halo is not sharply defined, as often seen with excessive sharpening, but is very softly visible around the dome. For me commons and QIC is still an institution for primarily factual and informative images, not for "art". Nothing against appropriate post-processing, for example to bring out details by contrast compensation, which would be lost in either very bright or very dark parts of the image with the usual standard camera settings. But I reject these "works of art" overdramatized with a cheap effect. Especially if, as with this picture, the CA is overlooked during the elaborate enhancement. Against the innumerable ghost persons only a completely different technique would help. --Smial 10:58, 23 March 2020 (UTC) Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Comment - Thank you. I still can't see it at full size, though I see a hint of what you're talking about at full-page size. I tend to discount things like that if I can't confirm them at higher resolution. -- Ikan Kekek 00:51, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Quality is good, halo is marginal. No reason to be exceptionally petty. --Milseburg 11:55, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose per Gyrostat --Grtek 03:05, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Total: 2 support (excluding the nominator), 3 oppose → Declined   --Peulle 17:33, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
