As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made more than 500 useful non-botlike edits, and to have been active in the last thirty days. Patrollers and License reviewers don't have to request this flag. Find possible candidates.
Oppose This user (an indefblocked troll from English and Russian Wikipedia) is misusing Cat-a-lot etc. for editcount pushing. The rename of the Cultural Heritage category was unnecessary. Regards --A.Savin 22:15, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Let me remind you once again that the blocking was fabricated. When it was fabricated for the first time, the administrator Wanderer777 was desysoped. Now it is fabricated for the second time. And it will be considered by the Arbitration Committee of the Russian Wikipedia. The blocking in the English Wikipedia was also fabricated by ex-administrator of the Russian Wikipedia for writing Sputnik V article etc. and I'm in contact with the ArbCom as well. Secondly, there is no Central District in Moscow. See Category:Districts of Moscow for more information. Thirdly, AWB, Cat-a-lot and VFC are just designed for mass edits. Fourth, no one allowed you to call me a troll.
Округ is nothing else than a Russian word for district (same as район), to rename hundreds of thousands files and categories is waste of resources. If at all, this should be done by a bot, not by a human user, surely not by you. Regards --A.Savin 22:54,

Once again. There is no Central District in Moscow. Besides, it doesn't matter how you can translate words, it only matters how this thing should be called in English. And it is less than 900 subcategories to be processed by AWB but not hundred of thousands as you imagined.--Александр Мотин (talk) 23:06, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right.
I read the file renaming guidance and I think I understood it correctly. My need for this tool is mostly due to my activity in FPC and the need to quickly correct names before (or sometimes during) nominations. Thank you. IamMM (talk) 17:33, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Unsure confused by 2 infinite blocks in other Wikimedia projects though they don't automatically have an impact here. The history of the renaming requests seems to show that renaming policy is understood but I would like to hear a second opinion rubin16 (talk) 13:39, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Understandable. I promised User:Elcobbola that I would not bring this issue up again in Commons , but I think I have a legitimate reason to do so. My position about these two blocks has not changed in any way and I believe that both are wrong, just as the block in Commons was wrong (Here). Unlike the right to rename files, the issues that led to my block(s) such as the right to access the free flow of information and the cooperation of wikimedians with government agencies that restrict the Internet, are really important to me. If someone is going to make a judgment about the details of the blocks, I would appreciate it if he/she had carefully obtained information about the context of issue before doing so. -- IamMM (talk) 14:36, 23 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Support IMO he is trusted enough. At least you may give it a try and grant the flag temporarily for now, 3 months or so. --A.Savin 09:39, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Promise that I will respect all rules. Me too .... also I was blocked in two Wikipedias although I have never ever done any harm to Wikipedia. Have a look at my edits de and it and you will not find PA, EW, vandalism or any form of destructive behavior. I will not complain here about German or Italian administrators. Better you have a look yourself. I think my Dutch colleagues are happy with my work there. No problems here either.--Potsdamergänzer (talk) 12:39, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm not quite active here anymore but from time to time I help WMPL chapter with setting up and tuning wizzard campaigns. I used to do that when I had Commons admin rights. Yarl💭 09:16, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm the co-organizer for the Wiki Loves Museums Campaign (India) which is happening for the first time and I would like to request permission to use the upload wizard for the campaign. I've previously organized the Indian Heritage Online campaign and request the permission so that I can continue to contribute and build similar campaigns. Thank you.
