I would like to have access to AWB for my bot, because I'm correcting the categories of the files in the Category:Possible Rijksmonumenten and its subcategories. I will request a botbit for this account. Thank you. Pompidom (talk) 16:15, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Time2wait.svg On hold Please request a botbit first so I can immediately add you to the list of bots instead of the list of users. Trijnsteltalk 19:14, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
They'll ask for some test edits. I can't make those edits with this account without access to AWB. Pompidom (talk) 19:46, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Alright then. ✓ Added to the list of approved users. Please say so when you have a botbit and I'll move you to the list of bots. Trijnsteltalk 19:59, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Thank you again. Pompidom (talk) 20:20, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
I also added this account to the confirmed and to the autopatrolled group. Please file your bot request now: COM:Bots/Requests -- Rillke(q?) 20:51, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

I would like to have access because I change categories many times (last examples: mountain ranges, caves by country, speleothems,...) because one of my jobs is sort categories. I want to learn to use AWB. First job will be to add the category "Pictures of Nachosan" to my images, it will be a no disturbing change for other editors. Thank you. I generally fix small things that require (slightly) more thinking than a bot can do (that require fact-checking / translation / etc.) I like to make sure I understand policy as it applies to any edits I make, and I seem to have proved uncontroversial so far. I think access to the API in a more direct way would be useful, but an assisted bot would be overkill. Thanks. moogsi(blah) 13:24, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Hedwig in Washington[edit]

I would like AWB access and can't even fill out a template. Face-smile.svg Reason:I am working on the +44k no source category. AWB would help me to get the work done faster. Often the problem is just too many curly brackets or the uploader forgot to add own work after transfer to commons. AWB can search for author=user on xx wiki in the old description. Doing that, the ammount of files that can be worked on easily will increase, I won't have to open every single file to see what's going on, AWB can do that way faster.

Just 1 reason. Need to add 6-8 categories to the files related to Durga(A Hindu Goddess). There are more than 150 files in these categories. With AWB it will take just 15-20 mins.
