I would like to request for rollback and patroller permissions, if possible, to help in fixing and fighting againist vandalisms. I have similar permissions at en.wp (as "DerBorg") (link to verify right groups). Thank you. Локомотив 15:57, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Fine for me (I'd just made you "autopatrolled" on the other req :)). ✓ Done --Herby talk thyme 13:55, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

When I applied for file-move and autopatrol rights, Leyo suggested that I could also get partoller rights. Reviewing what patrolling is about on Commons, I've done this as an admin on for some time, and so I believe I understand what patrolling entails on Commons. Thank you. Would be nice to see unpatrolled changes, and help with patrolling when I'm here. Already have autopatrol/rollback (and adminrights, but not using them) as steward. Thank you. Laaknor (talk) 09:25, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

I would like to apply my file moving, categorization, bot move reviewing, and no source/permission tagging to new pages that have not been patrolled, with an eye toward becoming well rounded in performing maintenance work. Thank you. – Adrignola talk 21:37, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm sysop in ru-wiki and, as a participant of project Incubator, I work a lot with articles of newcomers. They often upload copyrighted or fair-use images on commons except ru-wiki, so I often check their files. I'd prefer to become sysop here, but think that my first step should be a patroller. Thank you. Dmitry89 (talk) 22:00, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

I'd like to be able to mark edits and page creations as patrolled in order to reduce the backlog of new pages and unpatrolled edits; thus helping commons to attain (respectively keeping upright) it's goal of an educational database of freely usable media files. Thank you. RE RILLKE Questions? 11:47, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Ah, and before asking me, why I reverted File:Icon Orchestra.jpg you should know that was a serious mistake. I promise being more responsible in the future. -- RE RILLKE Questions? 11:55, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm a trusted user on enwiki and commons, and I am a license reviewer in addition to my work on OTRS. I would like the patroller right to help finish out the backlog of unpatrolled edits. Thank you. MacMedtalkstalk 03:57, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
First of all it's no good start to place your request first in row, you should have learned that that's not polite.
Your edit count is rather low, so I suggest to get some more experience before requesting any additional flag. axpdeHello! 09:27, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
I placed it in the first row because the date on the first entry is more recent than the second, so I assumed new entries went on the top. And fair enough, though I'm inclined to believe that "patroller" isn't exactly something one can maraud about with. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 11:31, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
  •  Not done I looked at your contributions here on Wikimedia Commons and it scared me. A fact is that I'm not scared a lot... The first thing I see is you closing some deleting request, thats a administrator job and you are not one here. This means I am not going to trust you with your edits patrolled, I'm going to deny your request. Thanks for volunteering anyways. Huib talk Abigor @ meta 20:02, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
  • Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: Huib, according to Commons:Deletion requests#How to close a discussion, "normal users" can do this, too, if there is nothing controversal. -- RE rillke questions? 18:01, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
  • ✓ Done. I'm sorry, but Huib/Abigor, your comment is not just wrong just also deeply, deeply mis-guided. Of course we want to involve non-sysop users in the working of the project, and deletion debates are a core part of the work on Commons. I'm reversing your decision, and instating MacMed as +patroller. James F. (talk) 14:47, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I've been on commons since 2008 and I would like to help clear the patrol backlog. I am a trusted user on zhwiki and here as a license reviewer and filemover. I've been on Wikimedia commons since 2007 and have been more active lately. I've been doing license review but could also help out with vandalism patrolling. I've done a good bit of new page patrolling on Wikipedia and have familiarity with Wikimedia policies. Thank you. Warfieldian (talk) 22:33, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to request the patroller tool. I understand the guidelines of this project and I'm already 'patrolling' new pages (by tagging inappropriate ones for deletion), but I think this would make my work way more effective. Thanks, Mathonius (talk) 20:00, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
