I have uploaded several files to Wikimedia Commons. I am requesting this because I think I can be trusted with this right. I have also read the Autopatrol guidelines. One of my images, that is, File:Durga Puja Celebration, was selected the picture of the day for Odia Wikipedia. Recently I am uploading lots of NASA images, along with my pictures. Thank you.  Not done . I still have the same concerns about your knowledge of Commons' policies, especially regarding copyright, as I did a couple of weeks ago when you requested the patroller right(see Commons:Requests for rights/Denied/Patroller/2012#Dipankan001). Sorry, but you need to slow down a bit and get a better understanding of what you're doing instead of focusing on collecting flags. WJBscribe (talk) 22:57, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
I think I didn't know the policies before. I have uploaded 60+ files here. If I didn't knew the policies, only a few of my images would remain till now. Have you checked Special:ListFiles/Dipankan001? I think that may be helpful. Dipankan001 (talk) 11:31, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Not done Since you asked me to review this case, I have been through your contributions. I had to nominate four for deletion, so I agree with WJBscribe that patrollers still need to watch over your work until you understand copyright better. Also, what cameras do you own? Your Kodak seems to be your regular camera, but I saw a few others claimed as own work... are you sure all those photographs were your own work? Also, the "date" field of the information box is supposed to be the date when you took the photograph, not when you uploaded it. As it currently stands it appears that you were in both the USA and India on January 29th. Please also describe your files better: "A very tall building in the US" is not very descriptive for the users. --99of9 (talk) 09:40, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I have many cameras. Photography is my hobby. I have my own Kodak, my father's, my mother's, my mobile, and some old cameras which I no longer use. Dipankan001 (talk) 10:08, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
What models are your father and mother's? --99of9 (talk) 10:22, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Both my dad and mom use a Samsung camera. My dad has a Sony handycam, too, but I don't use it that much because the process is a bit complicated. And I often exchange the old camera, a Kodak. Dipankan001 (talk) 06:39, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
This is not being responded... Dipankan001 (talk) 09:58, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Your contribs also show that you used canon and nikon cameras. What were they and where did they come from? --99of9 (talk) 10:33, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
As I said before, I hire out the old cameras of Kodak into new ones, and then again return the cameras. Dipankan001 (talk) 10:39, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Actually what you said before was that you have many cameras. What does "hire out the old cameras of Kodak into new ones" mean? I am not referring to Kodak cameras. --99of9 (talk) 10:46, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
My sister has her own photography shop, currently in Bangalore, India. Sorry there is problem with the language. I lend out the old cameras of Kodak, into new cameras when I get time to go in Bangalore. After few months, when I visit again, i return the new camera in exchange to the old Kodak camera. I've got more than 110 files uploaded now. Dipankan001 (talk) 09:43, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I'm part of a group in a Master's Studies program. Our assignment is to create a Wikipedia article looking into ICT Culture. 1 of the group members created several diagrams that I need to upload, as he refers to them in his part of the write-up. To make this easier, I turned them into jpg's — Preceding unsigned comment added by विकिजी (talk • contribs) 07:16, 5 March 2012‎ (UTC)
Please gain more experience on Commons first. You can still upload without autopatrol. Therefore,  Not done --O (висчвын) 07:42, 05 March 2012 (GMT)
I've uploaded several images here, I'm aware of how copyright and copyleft licenses work and I have access to a lot of public domain material as well. I'm an English Wikipedia sysop with plenty of copyright experience. Also, I like how you've automatically put a "Thank you" on the template, but thank you anyway ;). Thank you विकिजी (assign permissions)
Being an administrator elsewhere does not mean anything here on Commons. Your contributions here show no uploads at the moment. --O (висчвын) 08:05, 05 March 2012 (GMT)
Forget being an administrator in en wiki, your SUL says you are not even registered in english wikipedia. You copied and pasted the text from User:TParis's nomination a little above without even reading it. That's proof enough to say that your patrols will have to be monitored. --Sreejith K (talk) 08:12, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

It is probably safe to grant autopatrolled rights to this user despite of a block in past. Opinions? --Leyo 17:56, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure if I would support giving autopatrol rights to a sockpuppeteer... Trijnsteltalk 18:05, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Autopatrolled is not a dangerous user right IMHO. What could be a potential problem? --Leyo 12:57, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
User has a history of ignoring COM:OVERCAT despite numerous efforts to bring this and other basic rules to his mind. For example here and here he added 10 overcategories, and that after my notice on his talk page. He also has a history of incivility, edit warring, insulting, vandalism etc.--FAEP (talk) 14:40, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Not done Clearly giving it to Pava would be at least somewhat controversial, and he isn't even asking for it, Leyo is for Pava. If Pava can't/won't come here him/herself to defend the request, I don't see it happening. Sven Manguard Wha? 17:15, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
