Uploads failes also on aug. 7 2021

Still not working properly. Tried at least 5 times to upload 2 pictures... Every time: in wachtrij geplaatst... waiting, waiting... and than: De server heeft niet binnen de verwachte tijd geantwoord., Alle uploads zijn mislukt. and Mislukte uploads opnieuw maken.

Take data before describe

I was thinking wikidata could be a source of useful info to add during the description phase of an upload

To that end swap the order of the upload to take data before describe

Info could then be used from Wikidata to assist in adding descriptive information, perhaps as a butch of tag generated from it that people could choose to"click and include" such as author, location etc Back ache (talk) 08:03, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

I often upload to a category, when the category has an infobox that provides for this service. It makes a start at categorizing. With a camera phone, I sometimes can use WikiShootMe or Commons App to upload to the appropriate WD item. A limited amount of information indeed goes into description and category. Depending on how we use it, it can create a filename. Perhaps a way can be devised to do something similar with Upload Wizard. Jim.henderson (talk) 17:44, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
