  •  Info This is an example for an image that can be described by the term "Etchi" or "Ecchi". But it can also refer to the general style of a manga or anime drawing. There is no other image available on commons that can be referred as ecchi or moe. --Niabot (talk) 00:46, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose as not yet eligible for VI status. Thank you for nominating this image. Unfortunately, it cannot at present become a valued image since it currently fails valued image criterion 2 (does not have a suitably generic scope). I have not reviewed the nomination against all the criteria, but if you are able to fix this issue and would like me to re-evaluate the image please leave me a message on my talk page. --Eusebius (talk) 09:04, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Question You also have an svg version, which sorts of more valuable to me, as I suppose it has been used to generate the png? I am aware the svg renderer in the mediawiki software can sometimes mess up some details. Is that your reason for nominating the png? -- Slaunger (talk) 21:50, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support I think the scope is relevant for Wikimedia projects and I think it fulfills other criteria. Hard to find other images showing the scope of a "naughty" manga character. This one was the only alternative I found, but the nominated image clearly wins; it is a lot more sophisticated and subtle (beautiful artwork by the way, you sure are talented) and seems to hit pretty spot on, what ecchi manga is about. A topic I first had to familiarize myself with. Refreshing to something completely new on VI. -- Slaunger (talk) 22:12, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Support Image has some dodgy details: her hair disappears behind (sic!) her eyebrows and even behind her eyes!. Lycaon (talk) 16:05, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment This is totally typical for the manga/anime style. You have realistic drawings (Example from true tears), semi realistic drawings (Example from Clannad) and non realistic drawings (Example from Shuffle!). This is usual, since the eyes are the key-element of the head. (Some more examples, may be ecchi: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. --Niabot (talk) 16:26, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I'm not totally convinced. I can see that sometimes eyebrows are drawn on top, and even lashes. But hair behind the eyes?? That's stretching it a bit. (even that seems normal. Lycaon (talk) 18:16, 11 November 2008 (UTC)) Anyway, I've seen enough to drop my opposition, thanks for pointing it out. Lycaon (talk) 18:09, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
