  • Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment Among the distinguishing features of spiders are the spinneret and the eyes. The spinneret is shown in the ventral view. I wonder if the set wouldn't be improved by adding the front view, File:Spider November 2010-4.jpg, that shows the eyes? Walter Siegmund (talk) 17:46, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
  • Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment -- I'm not sure. We could add this picture to the set but the improvement is probably not significant, as the eyes of this specific species are not very conspicuous. Thoughts? -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 17:34, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
  • Symbol support vote.svg Support I suggested File:Spider November 2010-4.jpg because I assume that it depicts the same individual as the other members of the set. I think it shows the eyes as well as the 2008 image. My understanding is that the number of eyes (6 or 8) and their arrangement help to distinguish species. Both images show the number of eyes (8) and their arrangement and add significantly to the set value, in my opinion. That said, with or without such an image, I think the set deserves recognition.
