Reason Very high quality synthetic aperture radar image of venus. Looking through the "Venus" category, it is easily the best picture of the planet we have. -- JovanCormac

Support Best image for this scope. Fixed link. Yann (talk) 09:43, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The toolserver appears to be down a lot lately, though... -- JovanCormac 11:32, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Though an impressive picture, I'm not sure if a SAR image is the best for this general planet scope. We (humans) are most accustomed with images in the visible spectrum. Lycaon (talk) 11:40, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment please add use as links as the toolserver is not always available (tip: if you plan to do a lot of nominations, it is handy to construct an Excel template so that you more or less only have to cut and paste to get the list). Lycaon (talk) 11:40, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Well, it is not realistic to add 260 links, I think that a link to the tool is the best choice in that case. BTW it seems that problems with the TS are currently fixed. If we would have an image on at least the same quality in the visible spectrum, then it might be better, but we don't. Yann (talk) 13:54, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
