Wiki Loves Earth is an international photographic competition organized to promote natural heritage sites around the world through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). Everybody can participate. Yemen is home to many unique natural heritage sites, including protected areas, mountains, valleys, islands, forests, scenic landscapes, and other environmentally significant places.
The goal of Wiki Loves Earth is to encourage people to photograph these natural sites in Yemen and contribute free-licensed images to Wikimedia Commons so they can be used in Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.
The local contest in Yemen will take place from 01-06-2026 to 15-07-2026. Join us and help document the natural beauty and environmental heritage of Yemen for the world.
