This message must be check to make sure it matches Commons:Administrators/De-adminship, that the tone is friendly, and that everything is clear. I hope someone can give it a slight language touch so that the language will be optimal!

Could we take out the 24 hour retrieval for now? I'm working on the policy at present and the current wording goes for three days. Not that I'm suggesting that would be correct merely that if the policy changes it might be confusing? Still happy for there to be a "retrieval" process just not sure what. --Herby talk thyme 14:08, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Commons:Administrators/Adminship policy - gone very quiet. I'd love to do something about either involuntary de-admin OR confirmation but no one else seems interested. If I take that out I could move it to a vote? --Herby talk thyme 11:29, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

There is no difference in the de-admin through inactivity Fred - the new/proposed one merely refers to the recent change if that helps> As to retrieval no one has objected to anything so maybe as it says "If there are no objections a bureaucrat may restore the rights after a period they consider suitable.'" the period you specify is ok! - regards --Herby talk thyme 12:06, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Sent out, date was wrong[edit]

It is signed as July 30, but it should say August 6. The effective time is still until September 6. / Fred J 14:14, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Adding a warning ?[edit]

Hi there, I suggest we add a warning at the end of the template so that people who mistakingly answer the notification on the template itself (like me, shame on me!) would be aware that there are NOT on their own talk page :)

Maybe something like "WARNING - THIS IS NOT YOUR TALK PAGE BUT THE TEMPLATE ITSELF - DO NOT REPLY HERE" (within a noinclude tag or a html comment perhaps) ?
