Cyrus II of Persia

Cyrus II of Persia was a king of the Persian Empire, an ancient kingdom in the south of Persia and later the dominant state of the civilized world. He would soon create one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from Thrace to Egypt and into northwest India and is considered one of history's most successful military commanders.
