English: Eastern Michigan University, formerly known as Michigan State Normal School (1853-1899), Michigan State Normal College (1899-1956), and Eastern Michigan College (1956-1959), is a comprehensive, co-educational public university serving about 23,000 students in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
