In 2003, Postverk Føroya, the postal administration of the Faroe Islands, issued 37 stamps, including 3 miniature sheets. The Faroese post overhauled its policy of stamp issues and tries now, to issue more stamps, but for almost the same prize of a volume. In addition, stamp portals in the internet were set up: tjatsi.fo, faroeartstamps.fo and faroestamps.fo.
