Deutsch: Der "Zug der Düsseldorfer Künstler" von 1837 treibt die malende Zunft auf die Spitze. Bizarre Gestalten ziehen vor rötlichem Grund wie in einer altägyptischen Malerei vorüber. Dazwischen schweben frei erfundene Symbole, die an die Zeit der Pharaonen erinnern. Abgebildet u.a. Ludwig Richter, Raphael Schall, Heinrich Mücke, Julius Hübner, Eduard Steinbrück
