Title
'Severn' type bow brooch
Description
English: Worn head comprises plinth decorated with a row of short vertically incised lines. Angle between bow and head is decorated with a ridge incised with short vertical lines. The bow contains three long cells running the length of the bow containing traces of coloured enamel. Between the bow and the leg is a projecting knob. The leg is plain. The foot and catchplate are missing as is the pin and hinge mechanism. The brooch is in a generally degraded state.
