Description
English: Afghan National Army (ANA) Lt. Gen. Mohammad Akram, the deputy to the chief of staff, ANA, Ministry of Defense, speaks to ANA soldiers with the 201st Corps after the unit was awarded the Medal of Bravery during a ceremony at Forward Operating Base Gamberi, Laghman province, Afghanistan, Aug. 8, 2013. Afghan President Hamid Karzai signed a presidential decree authorizing the medal. The American equivalent is the Presidential Unit Citation.
