Выпущен в 1943 г. Паровозы серии Эр 750 построены Коломенским заводом в 1943-44 гг. в количестве около 22 шт. с использованием котлов пассажирских паровозов Су, постройка которых не была завершена в 1941 г. из-за начала Великой Отечественной войны. В дальнейшем послужил прототипом для многочисленных паровозов Эр послевоенной заграничной постройки. Поступил в музей с испытательного кольца ВНИИЖТ на ст. Щербинка в 1997 г.

The class Er was a development of the class Em. (R means reconstructed). It has a larger firebox. Built by Kolomna Works in 1943. Equipped with a boiler from the Su passenger class which was no longer being

produced because of the war.
