Հայերեն: Բանաստեղծ, փիլիսոփա, երաժիշտ, մանկավարժ. աստվածաբանական և եկեղեցական գործիչ Խոսրով Անձևացու որդին: Նարեկացու արձանը կերտվել է 2002 թ. ապրիլի 19-ին: 2003 թ. ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի որոշմամբ նշվեց Նարեկացու ՙՄատյան ողբերգության՚ պոեմի 1000-ամյակը: Հուշարձանի ճարտարապետը արձանի մոտ տեղադրված 7 բազալտե սալաքարերը վերածել է Մատյանի, որոնց վրա փորագրված են հատվածներ Նարեկացու ՙՄատյան ողբերգության՚ պոեմից: Արձանի նյութը՝ բրոնզ, գրանիտ, բազալտ, քանդակի բարձրությունը` 3,25 մ, լայնությունը (թևերի բացվածքը)` 2,8 մ, քանդակագործ` Սերժ Մեհրաբյան, ճարտարապետ` Աշոտ Սմբատյան:
