Description
עברית: בשכונת "גבעת נשר", בראש הגבעה, שוכנת האנדרטה לחללי מלחמות ישראל של בני העיר נשר אשר נפלו במלחמות מאז מלחמת העצמאות. האנדרטה הוקמה ביוזמתם של חברי ועדת הביטחון של ההגנה שפעלו במקום. התכנון והביצוע הופקדו בידי מהנדס בית החרושת נשר, בלה שניטלנדר, פרופ' יוחנן רטנר והאמן מיכאל קארה על בסיס עמדה שהוקמה במקום לפני מלחמת העצמאות. האנדרטה נחנכה בשנת תש"י (1950). האנדרטה מנציחה גם את "חנן זלינגר", "עמוס גלילי" ו"חיים בן דור" ומציינת את 39 האנשים אשר נטבחו בטבח בתי הזיקוק.
