فارسی: مسعود سعد سلمان شاخص ترین شاعر دوره دوم عزنویان و یکی از ارکان استوار ادب فارسی محسوب می شود. دوران زندگی ادبی او، که بیشتر در زندان های سو، دهک، نای و مرنج سپری شد، مصادف بود با آغاز حکومت سلطان ابراهیم تا پایان زمامداری بهرام شاه غزنوی، شکوائیه های جانسوز و تاثیرگذاری که وی در ایام تحمل این زندان ها به سبکی دلپذیر و با کلامی بلیغ سروده است، وی را به عنوان شاعری صاحب سبک نزد شاعران زمان خود و قرون بعد مطرح کرده است. علاوه بر آن، آگاهی و اشراف وی بر علوم متداول زمانش، همچون نجوم، فلسفه و سیاست موجب آن شد تا در شعر وی علاوه بر بار عاطفی رنگ و بوی خردورزی هم بتواند جلوه گری کند. این ویراست از دیوان مسعود سعد که بر اساس کهن ترین و معتبرترین دستنوشته ها و جنگ های متعدد و آخرین یافته ها درباره شعر و زندگی وی تدوین شده است، نزدیکه به شانزده هزار بیت می شود که مشتمل است بر اشعار فارسی و عربی مسعود سعد و سروده های دیگر شاعران در مدح و نقد شعر وی. |
