2012年11月10日、長野県上田市にある前山寺の三重塔と黄葉。 国の重要文化財であり、「未完成の完成の塔」とも呼ばれる前山寺の塔。 窓や回廊などがなく、一般的には未完ではあるけれども、塔として必要最小限の構造のみで"完成されている"ため、そう呼ばれる事もあるそうです。 不自然さなどなく、周囲の風景と見事に調和していました。
This pagoda is called an unfinished but finished pagoda. It doesn’t have any window, corridor, etc, but it does have the minimum of what a Buddhist pagoda must have. Because of that people call it so. The pagoda stands in perfect harmony with its surroundings. |
