(probably) Roman steelyard weight
Description
English: A heavily corroded lead steelyard weight of possible Roman date*. The object is bi-conical and has a central band. An iron suspension loop extends from the top and there is also a remnant protruding from the bottom of the weight. It measures 35.3mm high by 22.9mm wide at the centre. The weight is 51.78g.
