Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a comparison between the .30 Remington hollow-point manufactured by Rem-UMC (left) to the .30-30 Winchester soft-point manufactured by Peters (right). They are really the same cartridge, but the .30 Remington is just rimless. I always thought that the .30 Remington was a really pointless cartridge only designed to sell more guns, but, oh, well, to each their own. The .30-30 Winchester has comparable ballistics to AK food, 7.62x39mm, and as such, so does the .30 Remington. The rounds are not, however, interchangeable.
