Description
Deutsch: Blick von der Italjenische Brücke (Итальянский мос) auf die Auferstehungskirche (auch Erlöserkirche oder Blutkirche genannt) in Sankt Petersburg. Die Kirche wurde von 1883 – 1907 erbaut und ist mit zahlreichen Mosaiken verziert. Man errichtete die Kirche an der Stelle, an der auf Kaiser Alexander II. 1881 ein tödliches Attentat verübt wurde.
Simple English: View from the Italjen Bridge (Итальянский мос) to the Church of the Resurrection (also called the Church of the Redeemer or the Blood Church) in St. Petersburg. The church was built from 1883 to 1907 and is decorated with numerous mosaics. The church was erected at the place where a fatal assassination attempt was made on Emperor Alexander II. in 1881.
