Description

Placa de yeso de unos 85 cm de ancho que originalmente formaba la sección inferior de un panel en la esquina de una habitación. Muestra al rey Ashurnasirpal II en campaña viajando en un carro. La inscripción en cuneiforme habla de expedición al Líbano en el 874 a.C. lo cual sirve para datarl la placa aproximadamente, Procede de una excavación de Hormuzd Rassam en 1852 en el Palacio del Noroeste de Nimrud, actual Irak. El museo la adquirió en 1856.
