Description A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) prepares for takeoff aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during a reconnaissance and surveillance exercise in the Atlantic Ocean Oct. 27, 2013. The 22nd MEU participated in the exercise in preparation for a deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet and the U.S. 6th Fleet areas of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group.
