Description
Nederlands: Railwerkvoertuig 519 (2013).

Dit voertuig heeft autobanden en stalen tramwielen. De bestuurder is zowel vrachtwagenchauffeur als trambestuurder.

Hij rijdt met ingetrokken tramwielen op rubberbanden op de weg, maar op de rails kan hij de tramwielen naar beneden drukken en op het spoor verder rijden. Met een schuurband onder de wagen wordt de rails geschuurd. Daardoor hebben de trams minder last van vuil en gladheid en kunnen ze beter op tijd rijden.

This vehicle has car tires and steel tram wheels. The driver is both truck driver and tram driver.

He drives with retracted tram wheels on rubber tires on the road, but on the rails he can push the tram wheels down and continue on the track. The rails are sanded with a sanding belt under the carriage. As a result, the trams are less bothered by dirt and slipperiness and they can run on time.
