Summary[edit]

Description
English: 18th Century Chest Tomb. This beautifully simple, Grade II listed, tomb is located just to the south of the entrance to St Lawrence's Church. The tomb holds the remains of John Stonhewer [sic] of Crowburrow who was buried on the first of June 1732, aged 69. I would imagine that given his name and his splendid tomb, Mr Stonhewer was a mason of some renown.
This is a photo of listed building number 1294003.
